Location: 105 Jordan Hall of Science

Rare Disease Day is an observance held on the last day of February to raise awareness for rare diseases and improve access to treatment and medical representation for individuals with rare diseases and their families. The College of Science and the Boler-Parseghian Center for Rare and Neglected Diseases celebrate the importance of this day with an annual Rare Disease Research Conference. We invite you to join us for the 15th Annual Conference on Advancing Rare Disease Research on February 29 (105 Jordan Hall of Science) and March 1 (Embassy Suites-Notre Dame, 1140 E. Angela Blvd).

This year’s program promises to be filled with presentations from Notre Dame faculty and students, and renowned researchers from across the country and the tentative schedule at-a-glance can be viewed here.

Due to an unfortunate flight cancellation Dr. Matthew Wood is unable to attend the conference. For those who have a reservation to attend, we will begin at 4:30 pm tomorrow in the Jordan Hall of Science Galleria followed by the start of our programming at 5 pm. The rest of the schedule will continue as usual. If you have any questions, please email Barb Calhoun

Registration is free an open to all - please register here by February 16.
